Yesterday I got to see Dii and he, of course, pwned me at Super Smash Bros. Melee...some things don't change...Oh well. It was the first time I saw him since he left for the Philippines, so it was nice that we got to see each other. :] After seeing Dii, it was time to head on to San Francisco for Cheyanne's birthday!
I got to meet her very vivacious uncle and his friend (I'm scared to type their names because I don't want to spell them wrong lol.) Her uncle was so awesome. He reminded me kind of Aya from Fruits Basket XD. Hahahaha. Anyways, first we went to the Rainforest Cafe at Fisherman's Warf (which I must say was utterly amazing.) I loved the whole atmosphere of the place and the food was actually really good! The only bad part was the humidity which kind of messed up my hair after I had straightened it.
This was the appetizer we destroyed. Like it was ppointed out amongst us, we were all very modest in grabbing things off the plate. Eventually, me and Matt thought, 'Fuck it. Hand over the last flauta!'
I somehow managed to fall off the chair while we were taking pictures...Obviously I'm quite the graceful one. At least I smiled while doing it.
Me, Cheyanne and Akiko were trying hella hard not to laugh. Akiko had the hardest the time. I look like I'm mashing my face into Cheyanne's cheek.
Oh my goodness...well the group picture before this, I wasn't in it because I was playing with toy alligators in the shop in the background...so I decided to take a picture with the alligator when we took another picture.
While we were walking down Fisherman's Warf to Ghirardelli Square, I was looking at the store window of an antique shop and I saw a sign that said, "Hand Carved Antiques, $99." As I looked closely at the little figurines...they were quite...interesting. I screamed out in public, "Oh my goodness they're having sex!" I seriously have never seen figures like this in an antique store...then again we're in San Francisco :P Trust me, the other picutres I have are for more disturbing and I don't feel like posting them. It sure was a good laugh, though.
Our last stop was Ghirarcelli...er...Ghirardelli Square. I've never been there before, but it was such a cute place! I want to go back in the daytime. Just sitting outside with everyone and chatting while drinking white chocolate mocha was so nice.
